I saved a little bird today! I found it on campus with a bloody beak and a broken wing. It was just lying on its back on the ground and couldn’t get up. When I turned it up right and realized it couldn’t walk or fly properly I wasn’t sure what to do.

Everyone was walking by it and no one cared to move it out of the way or take care of it.. I just couldn’t leave it there…

I found that there was a Wild Bird Care Centre in my area, called them and they told me to drop the bird off there so they could take care of it and release it back in the wild :) They take in birds of all kind! So.. I wrapped up the little guy in my scarf, walked the rest of the way to work, got a card board box and drove to the center to drop it off. It didn’t make a peep the whole time! It was so sweet.

They told me to call tomorrow afternoon for an update :) 
I think some people might laugh at me for going through this much trouble for a bird, but honestly I’m happy I did it, I know it was the right thing. I’d do it again in a heart beat :)
